What if the AI receptionist tells my clients something wrong?
It is built to answer only from the information you give it — the text you write plus PDF, Word (.docx), or text (.txt) files you upload. If a visitor asks about something outside that information, it says it does not know and asks them to contact you directly. It never reads your page on its own; you decide exactly what it knows. And you can test it in private from your dashboard before your clients ever meet it.
Is the free plan really free, or does it stop after some time?
Free forever — not a trial: your plan and your page never expire or get taken away. The monthly limits are 10 bookings, 20 form submissions, and 50 AI messages, and they reset every 30 days. If you reach one, your page stays online — only that single action pauses until the reset, and you get a warning before it happens. Upgrade only if you want more each month.
Do my clients need an account or an app to book?
No — never. A client opens your link, picks a time, and types a name and email — plus anything else you choose to ask. You both get an email right away, and the client's email has a private link to cancel or, once a time is confirmed, to pick a new one — no password, nothing to install. Questions to the AI receptionist and form submissions need no sign-in either: your clients never sign up for anything.
Can I use my own domain instead of a frontdesk.page link?
No — your page is at frontdesk.page/yourname; custom domains are not supported. The page still looks like yours, not ours: your colors, fonts, backgrounds, and photos. On any paid plan (from $20 per month) the "Powered by frontdesk.page" badge is removed automatically. You can also rename your link up to 5 times every 180 days, and old links redirect to the new one, so printed QR codes and links you already shared keep working.
